Bettysioux
The name Bettysioux comes from a combination of Betty Page and Siouxsie Sioux. These two women have inspired me in many ways. Although both of them have distinctive style, that's not what draws me to them. Their strength and individuality is what makes them such inspirations to me. Both women are pioneers in their own field, they pushed aside the society norm and have done thier own thing. That is what Bettysioux is all about, pushing away what people expect and doing your own thing. The clothing on this site is made for serious fun. If you want to stand out, if you want to be yourself no matter how different, this is the place to be.
Jennifer Lyons
Creator and designer for Bettysioux. Jennifer created this line to show people that fashion is what you make of it.
Jennifer attended The Chamberlain School of Design at Mount Ida College.
After graduating with a Bachelors Degree, she went on to work full time at Corky and Company, a Children's outerwear manufacturer that she interned for while in school.
Jennifer has been with Corkys for 5 years and together with the owner she holds the position of the Head Designer. Her time with Corky has brought her to many trade shows and exhibitions, exposing her to clothing trends and the latest inovations in textiles. Using these tools she has branched off to start her own line of clothing using print, texture, and design to create unique peices of clothing ment for the true individual
